  • Victory Square in Bishkek is a prominent and historically significant landmark. It is dedicated to the Soviet victory in World War II and serves as a central location for public events and ceremonies.
  • The name Ala-Too translates from Kyrgyz as "mottled mountains" and refers to the mountain range of the same name, where the mountains have a "piebald" color: partly white due to snow, partly dark in snowless areas. At the center of the square stands a large monument featuring a statue of Manas, a legendary hero of Kyrgyz folklore. This monument symbolizes Kyrgyz national pride and unity.
  • Oak Park is the oldest park in Bishkek. The first trees were planted in 1890, when the city was only 12 years old. Today it is a large beautiful park, giving a lot of shade in summer, and in autumn decorating the capital with a yellow-red palette. In 2010, the park was renamed in honor of Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov.

Osh Bazaar was built in 1983 in the western part of the capital, and received its name in honor of the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan.
